Bernera Zone Swimming Carnival

On Tuesday 23 February, Cecil Hills High School had 53 student representatives from Year 7 through to Year 12 compete at the annual Bernera Zone Swimming Carnival.

In what was weather not so conducive of a swimming carnival in February, our students competed with enthusiasm even offering to fill in where they could to ensure that the school could gain maximum points.

Overall, we had six age champions!

Congratulations in particular to Jaydan Prasad, Renaldo Ionita, Brendan Prasad, Montana Wasif, Michelle Prasad and Renae Prasad (pictured) on being rewarded with age champions for their divisions.

A big thank you to Mr Dunn who was the team’s manager and again to all of the students who competed and continue to demonstrate the Cecil spirit to ensure that we remain the most successful school in the Bernera Zone for sport.

Basketball

Jasmina Jokic , Athida Sirimanotham and Tijana Banic represented Bernera Zone at the SSWASA Basketball Tournament this week.
