Class of 2027

Welcoming Year 6!

Over the past week Mr Howard, Mr Banks and I met our future Class of 2027. The students of Cecil Hills Public School, Kemps Creek Public School, and Bonnyrigg Heights Public School were very excited about the visit from their high school Year Advisers and Deputy Principal. Year 6 students informed us that they are very eager to start high school, but are also nervous about the big change ahead.

We asked our future Year 7 students what they were looking forward to most in high school and these were some of the popular responses:

• school camp
• reward days
• music class
• making something in woodwork
• making more friends
• joining the dance class
• learning how to write creatively
• and meeting their new teachers.

We can’t wait to visit our future Year 7s again!
