Speech pathologist @ Cecil

Hi Cecil Hills High School community!  My name is Nickki and I am a Speech Pathologist. A Speech Pathologist is someone who helps with communication needs across all ages. I will be at Cecil Hills High School every Friday to support both students and staff. 

You can find me in the school library. I’m often helping students with:

• Receptive language (understanding words and instructions),
• Expressive language (reading, writing and speaking better sentences),
• Emotional regulation (knowing the size of a problem and how to respond the expected way),
• Fluency (stuttering),
• Articulation (speech clarity) and,
• Pragmatics (social communication, understanding jokes, tone of voice, negotiation).

I look forward to working with students and staff at Cecil Hills High School.
