VCE Theatre Studies presents ‘Puffs: Or Seven Increasingly Eventful Years at a Certain School of Magic and Magic’,

Puffs is the story of an everyday kid who suddenly discovers he is a wizard and spends seven years in a wizarding school in England. Sound familiar? This may not be the story you expect. When this boy meets the Sorting Hat, he’s designated a ‘Puff’…

Puffs takes the Harry Potter story we know and love but tells it through the lens of all those oddball kids in Hufflepuff house, the ones who seem very forgotten in the original stories. So, join Wayne, Oliver and Megan as they and the other ‘Puffs’ do their best to help fight ‘You Know Who’ and not come last in the House Cup… again.

VCE Theatre Studies students are responsible for all aspects of this production, from acting to direction to design. This is part of their Unit 1 and 3 studies.

Zoom Workshop

In preparation for our upcoming production of ‘Puffs’, Mr Bleakley’s VCE Theatre Studies class had a Zoom workshop with Lisa Dallinger - Voice & Dialect Coach to learn more about the British accent.

The workshop was a stack of fun and always great to connect with an industry professional.
