  • Jade McCullough (Year 9) – Contortion 

 

The competition was tough but Jade’s contortion was mind-blowing! Congratulations Jade, on your winning performance.

The Art of Jam - Jazz Workshop

Thursday 2 May - 3.30pm - 6.30 pm

The Art of Jam is running again this year after very successful workshops in the last 2 years. The workshop is designed to encourage confidence with improvisation and provides students the skills to openly express their music creativity. 

 

The event is open to all intermediate and advanced musicians, even if you don’t study music at LHS. 

 

After the workshop, there will be a performance gig for parents; 6.30  pm – 7.30 pm. 

 

Please speak to your Instrumental Music teacher or Ms Goode if you’d like more information or to register.

LHS Band

Grade 6 Information Evening

The LHS Band will have their first public performance for the year at the Grade 6 Information Evening on Thursday 18 April. 

 

The band have been busy rehearsing all Term 1 and will perform a selection of pieces before the formal information session in the Hall. 

 

Band members should check Compass and Google Classroom for more information.

NEVER Youth Concert - Sonic Canvas

This year’s North Eastern Victoria Regional Music Concert will be held at Hamer Hall on Wednesday 29 May.
