Year 7 Cricket

Wednesday 28 February

Year 7 Cricket took out 2 teams, playing against Upper Yarra, Emerald and Lilydale Heights.

Both teams fought well, and the A team came home with the Grand Final Win! Score was 85 to 32 against Upper Yarra. Jack Batten was best on ground and awarded the MVP trophy.

On a warm day, they all had fun and played their best!  Such a GREAT day!

Special mention to Camdyn and Mitch (Year 9 Coaches) supported by Coaches, Mr Fyffe and Miss Smith.

Senior Tennis

We had an adventure through this year's Senior Tennis, beginning in the mixed section (Noah Vincent, Sienna Benson, Zoe Haydon, Charli Garrett), and winning at Lilydale Tennis club against Lilydale Heights College, in a very competitive match and making it into the next round.

In the next round, we decided to compete as a whole female team with Sienna Benson, Stephanie Philpot, Emmaline Greaves and Zoe Haydon, and the coaching from Noah Vincent. We played against Balywn, sadly we didn't win although it was very close and good practice for the games ahead.

Then we versed Glen Waverley, we were very competitive, but unfortunately didn’t get the win.

Lastly, we versed Mullauna and finally got a win!

I’d like to thank Mr Huby for coaching and taking us to the two tennis days, we really appreciate it!

Year 7 Volleyball 🏐

GIRLS 🏐

Team 1; 3 wins, 2 losses

Team 2; 3 wins, 2 losses

Both teams played with only 5 players. All girls were encouraging, competitive & enjoyed playing a new sport!

BOYS 🏐

Team 1; 3 wins, 1 loss in the draw

Team 2; 0 wins, 4 losses

Team 1 made it to the semi final but lost.  Both teams played with extras and got the hang of rotations quickly. They pumped each other up and made the most out of each match.

EIS Netball

Tuesday 5 March

EIS Netball students (Years 9 to 12) travelled to Forest Hill College to participate in some friendly match play.

It was great experience for the students to showcase their skills against quality opposition.

Year 10 EIS Basketball

Wednesday 20 March

Our Year 10 EIS Basketball students competed in Basketball Victoria 3xCup Tournament.

Students have had the opportunity to play and coach themselves in this tournament and coaches had the opportunity to observe and see how it challenges the students.

5 or our teams made finals and our Division 1 Boys fell short in the Grand Final by 3 points while being a player down.  Fantastic effort!
