Student Services: Careers

Final newsletter of Term 2! Winter is setting in and the careers office is bustling with students as they plan their courses and subjects for 2027. It was great to chat to so many students and families during our course expo – it is really important for students to research their options thoroughly to make informed choices for the future.  

YEAR 12s START APPLYING IN TERM 3  

As we head in to Term 3, it is really important for Year 12s to get active in their planning for 2027 and beyond. Students should be reading the Weekly Career News that is posted to Teams each Monday. I encourage students to participate in holiday events at university campuses (posted to Teams).  

Students should be attending Connect sessions, where the process of registering for VTAC has already commenced. I will be running an information session for students during an assembly early in Term 3 and there will be a parent information session held on July 22nd. Stay tuned for more information from the senior years team.
