Outstanding Achievement in VCE Literature – Top Scribe 2026 

We are delighted to congratulate Elliot Loveday on his selection for the VCE Season of Excellence – Top Scribe 2026. 

Top Scribe celebrates outstanding creative writing by VCE Literature students from across Victoria, with selected works published in an annual anthology as part of the VCE Season of Excellence. Elliot’s inclusion places him among a small group of highly accomplished young writers recognised for the quality, originality and sophistication of their work. 

Last week, Jo Foley and I had the pleasure of attending the official Top Scribe celebration at the State Library’s Wheeler Centre, where Elliot’s achievement was recognised alongside other outstanding VCE Literature students from across the state. 

Being selected for Top Scribe is a significant achievement and reflects Elliot’s talent as a writer, his thoughtful engagement with literature, and his commitment to excellence throughout his VCE studies. 

We are incredibly proud of Elliot’s accomplishment and thank our Literature staff for their ongoing support in fostering a culture of reading, writing and literary excellence across the school.
