It’s a Gig Class Concert – Play it Forward 

Our recent Play It Forward concert was a resounding success, with a huge turnout of students, teachers, staff, friends, and family. With 112 people passing through the pre-sale and another 16 passing through the door that night, our performance was filled with laughter and encouragement. 

Notably, we raised over $900 to donate to the charity War Child Australia, which supports children and families affected by war and conflict, providing education, protection, and opportunities for their better future. 

The concert was fantastic thanks to the efforts of our students, including performances by Placeholder, Extra Chicken Salt, The Combat Penguins, Ice Cold Sour Gummies, Iris, Nelleke, James, and Ariana. Each performance brought its own unique energy and style, showcasing creativity and talent to the fullest for the audience to enjoy. 

We would like to extend a special thank you to Ms. Sherrin and Ms. Brogan for their support and guidance. We also thank Zac and Sam from Year 12 for volunteering their time to assist with lighting and Maya for capturing the night scenes as our photographer. 

Beyond the charity donation, we learned valuable lessons about teamwork and how to run a concert, and how to shine on stage. It was a memorable experience to see everyone working together and supporting each other to create a spectacularly successful concert. 

Finally, we sincerely thank everyone who supported us and everyone who attended the concert. Your presence is a significant contribution to our success. We feel very proud and happy about what we have achieved.
