2025 Victorian jigsaw champions

by Ms Emily Collins & Ms Kylie Pearson, School Librarians

On Saturday 9 August, four students from Box Hill High School were crowned State Champions of the first ever Victorian Jigsaw Championship - Schools Division at the historic Malvern Town Hall.

The team, Victoria S, (Year 7), Gemma S (Year 11), Chloe K (Year 7) and Milly F (Year 11), learnt they had qualified for a place at the championship ranked as 25th fastest school team in Australia.

They competed against the best school teams in Victoria and took out first place, completing a 500-piece puzzle. Their winning time of 62mins 19 sec beat their qualifying time and set a new personal best.

This team, who have been working weekly to improve their times, is just one of many students who have enjoyed the new Puzzle Club launched in 2024. We hope that this is just the start!
