Celebrating 100 Days of Year 7

In Week 2 of this term, we proudly celebrated the milestone of 100 days of Year 7, a significant marker in the journey of our newest high school students. This occasion provided a wonderful opportunity to acknowledge the remarkable progress and resilience demonstrated by our Year 7 cohort as they have settled into the routines and challenges of secondary education.

To commemorate the day, all Year 7 students enjoyed a festive sausage sizzle, fostering a sense of community and belonging. The celebrations continued with engaging games and friendly competitions between Home Groups, promoting teamwork and school spirit.

In a meaningful project coordinated by Ms Wilkinson, each Home Group created a time capsule filled with mementos and reflections from their first 100 days. These capsules will be carefully preserved and transported to the senior school, where they will serve as a lasting reminder of this important milestone in their educational journey.

Subject Selection Update

The subject selection process for the Junior School has now concluded successfully. We are currently following up with students who have yet to finalise their choices to ensure everyone’s preferences are captured. In addition, enrolment is underway for targeted literacy and numeracy intervention classes, designed to provide tailored support to students in 2026.

Later this term, the finalised list of elective subjects will be published on Teams, allowing students and families to review their options clearly. There will also be an opportunity to request subject swaps for those who may wish to adjust their selections. Please note, this process may take some time to accommodate all requests fairly and effectively. We encourage students and families to remain patient and engaged as we work to finalise class groupings for next year.
