2025 Australian Geography Competition results

In Humanities this year we held the Australian Geography Competition for students from Years 7 to 11. Over 52,000 students from 600 schools across Australia entered the Australian Geography Competition. A fantastic number of 83 students from Box Hill High School chose to participate, producing very high results. 

We firstly wish to celebrate Angelina who achieved the highest score of all Year 9 students across Victoria and is in the top 1% of their year level in Australia. Congratulations Angelina!

Two more students achieved the top 1% in Year 7 in Australia - Yao and Celine.  

A further 20 students achieved a high distinction in the following year levels:  

• Year 7 – Azaan, Ella, Jennifer, Kyle, Rowan, Zoe, Michael, Bolin and Kitson 

• Year 8 – Karl, Cameron, Olivia, Ishan and Kade 

• Year 9 – Deb, Thomas, Joshua, Deepa, Ocean 

• Year 11 – Josette 

Ten students achieved a distinction, and 15 students achieved a credit.
