Principal's message

Dear God,
We join with Pope Leo as he,
prays for stability and peace as violence escalates in the Middle East.
We pray that world leaders seek,
through reasonable, authentic and responsible dialogue,
an end to the violence and tragedy that is occurring.
We pray that wisdom prevails
and peace and justice for all is achieved.
Amen.
Dear Parents
This Wednesday is Crazy Hair Day to raise funds for Caritas Australia. Children can wear their hair in any Crazy way and donate a gold coin. The Foundation children will have their Crazy Hair Day on Thursday. By having our Crazy hair day on Wednesday, we join with all other schools in our fundraising efforts as a generous benefactor has pledged to double any funds raised on Wednesday.
Emergency Management
On Tuesday we will have an Emergency evacuation Drill as part of our Emergency Management. Our children and staff are quite efficient carrying out these drills.
Public Holiday
This coming Monday is a school closure day for the Labour Day Public Holiday.
Pupil free days
We advise parents of two pupil free days next term.
20th April is a system wide pupil free day with focus on Learning and Teaching with a focus on learning from
• Dr Jared Cooney Horvath
• Dr Nathaniel Swain
• Teach Well
10th June 2026 is a CESL determined pupil free date.
On this day there will be a network hardware update day for our school. Whilst these works are being carried out, there will be no internet or phone services from the school available. Network equipment will be replaced (Wireless points, switching gear). This outage is expected to last the full day.
Have a great week
