Year 9 & 10, 2025 Elective Subjects 2025

All Year 8 and 9 students are currently in the process of finalising their elective subject choices for 2025. The portal closing date is Monday 29 July.

A reminder to follow these guidelines when you are making your final choices:

  • Select subjects that interest you and subjects you are good at.
  • Be realistic: Is the subject at the right challenge level for you?
  • Balance your workload - seek a challenge but do now overwhelm yourself.
  • Consider your possible future Pathway - choose subjects that can support your Pathway OR if you are unsure keep your options open by choosing broad and diverse subjects.
  • Finally, DO NOT PICK elective subjects because your friends are also choosing the subject OR based on the hope a particular teacher may teach the subject.
