Music Department Update

The Royal Australian Navy Band gave a wonderful performance and workshops to all of our Concert Band students on Friday 31 May. The concert started with a drum display and the Navy Band performing famous Australian works and military marches. The Navy Band then moved to an amazing rendition of the Star Wars theme and great vocal performances of famous songs from the movie Toy Story and the musical Wicked. 

At the end of the performance students played in their own Concert Band alongside of professional Navy Musicians who they were able to interact with and learn from. 

A big thank you to the Navy Band for what was an incredibly inspiring day of music for our students at Frankston High School.
