RIDING TO SCHOOL

We have received numerous phone calls from concerned residents in our community in reference to students with bicycles, scooters and e-scooters.

BICYCLES

We ask parents/carers to talk to their children about riding safely on their bicycles and in particular the wearing of an appropriate helmet. Some students wear helmets but do not do the buckle up under their chin. Any students found not to be wearing helmets or not wearing them correctly will have their bicycles impounded by the school and then parents/carers will be called to pick them up.   Please remember that students must always walk their bicycles when on school grounds.

Please see the Department of Education Cycling to and from School Policy. https://www2.education.vic.gov.au/pal/cycling-and-school/policy

SCOOTERS/E-SCOOTERS

Skateboards and scooters/e-scooters are not allowed on school grounds
