Zach has made his debut as an extra in the Stan original series Invisible Boys, which is an adaptation of the novel by Holden Sheppard. Zach has been working tirelessly behind the scenes on his acting and modelling while juggling his academic work at school. Way to go, Zach. We have spotted you already (above) and will be watching with interest.
Congratulations to Bonnie Wicks on her selection in the Calisthenics Association of WA (CAWA) State Team. Bonnie will compete in the Australian Calisthenic Federation’s AusCali Carnivale in Adelaide in July - a wonderful achievement as being a State Team representative is something many strive for but only a few are chosen.
Bonnie is one of 24 girls in the Junior Tier 1 team aged 11-13 years and prior to the competition in July, s will perform in Perth at the CAWA State Team Spectacular Concert.
Later this year Macy is riding 200km in a fundraising event to support the Harry Perkins Institute of Medical Research. Macy has a message for fellow St George’s students:
“I want to share a great volunteering opportunity that students or the Anglicare Ambassadors can participate in. The Harry Perkins MACA 200 Ride for Research is a fundraising event supporting the Harry Perkins Institute of Medical Research, which works on important cancer research.
“The event is a fantastic way to get involved with the community, help with the ride, and support a great cause. Volunteers will be needed to help with registration, assist participants, manage water stations, and support general event logistics. It’s an amazing chance to be part of something meaningful while gaining new experiences and contributing to cancer research. It's an amazing event that I've volunteered at for years now and I would recommend it for fellow St George’s students and staff because it is such a well-thought-out event!’’
