Living with neurodiversity

On Wednesday night this week we held the first of our Parent Guest Speaker evenings, with Annabel Tennenbaum (pictured) talking about living with neurodiversity. An engaged crowd learned a lot from Annabel that they can take forward into their own lives. Our next Parent Guest Speaker event will be led by Mr Andrew Hayes, an expert on ADHD. We will open up bookings early next term.

Afternoon Tea and Chatter

Next week St George's will provide another opportunity for parents and carers to come into the school to meet staff and attain support in pastoral care.

Parents are welcome to chat with our Principal, Dean and Associate Dean of Students and Wellbeing, Heads of House and Heads of Year at the Afternoon Tea & Chatter Event on Wednesday, 12 March @ 3-4pm on Level 4. For catering purposes, please book now:

It has been a busy couple of weeks for events at St George’s – starting with the Year 10 Dinner at the Hilton on Elizabeth Quay. Our students were dressed to impress - some of the suits and dresses were dazzling. Thank you to Mr Cotterell and his team of student helpers for the work they did to make sure the night ran so smoothly. This week we also held one of my favourite events on the calendar, the Interhouse Swimming Carnival. It was so nice to see the whole school at Claremont Aquatic Centre supporting each other and enjoying the House rivalry that is central to the day. I must commend the Physical Education teachers for the huge amount of work that goes into the day. It was an outstanding event.
