What a fantastic evening we had at the Year 10 Dinner. Thank you to each attendee for making it such a memorable and enjoyable event. The Mamma Mia theme was a hit, and students all looked stunning.
A big thank you to the year group social committee for organising everything from the photo booth areas to the beautiful table decorations; the fun trivia section and the awesome playlist that kept the energy high all night. You all played a big part in making the evening a success. Thank you also to the staff who helped bring the evening together. Their hard work behind the scenes truly made the event special.
As we continue through the term, many of us are juggling a hefty load of assessments. Remember to stick to your routines, take breaks when needed, and don’t hesitate to ask for help if you’re feeling overwhelmed. Well done so far – keep up the great work!
This term has flown by and I want to commend our Year 9s on the way they have handled the challenges so far. With assessments, new subjects and increasing expectations, the cohort has shown resilience and maturity. Students, remember, if you ever feel overwhelmed or unsure, please don’t hesitate to speak to me or your teachers – we are here to help with study skills, time management or just to listen.
With NAPLAN approaching, this is a fantastic opportunity to show how much you have learned. Take the time to review topics from last year and complete some practice using the Year 9 Practice Site https://pages.assessform.edu.au/pages/year-9-demos. Check Mrs Tagore’s email for helpful tips and remember to stay calm, get plenty of sleep, and charge your laptop. I’m excited to get to know you all even better, and I’m especially looking forward to our social event next term!
