Chess Blitz

Another first for Huntingtower when our Chess Captain, Rey Ding, played a “simul” against four of our amazing Year 7 students. Each player had 6 minutes plus 2 second increments which meant that Rey’s clock kept running down when he was playing on the other boards. This created a very exciting, and at times tense, atmosphere is this four-way simultaneous challenge.

Rey eventually won all four games with Shaun H providing Rey with a serious challenge. Thank you to Mabel L, Arjun M, and Rehan S on the other boards and all their supporters who came along to watch this exciting spectacle.
