As part of Future Ready Week, held from the 3rd to the 6th of March, our students participated in a series of engaging and insightful workshops designed to prepare them for the ever-changing world around them. Over the course of the week, students gained valuable skills in leadership, career readiness, and financial literacy, all aimed at equipping them to thrive in the future workforce.
Highlights of the Week's Activities
Darren Pereira – Success Integrated
Darren Pereira led high-energy sessions that focused on building resilience, smarter study habits, and stepping confidently into leadership roles. Students learned how to cultivate a positive mindset and use practical strategies to overcome challenges and achieve their goals. With a track record of impacting over 700,000 students across seven countries, Darren’s session inspired students to actively pursue their ambitions with determination.
Tyson Day – Arrive and Thrive
Tyson Day’s workshop encouraged students to reflect on their career pathways, lifelong learning, and aligning their goals with their core values. He emphasised that the future is not a fixed path, but one that students can actively shape by thinking critically about their aspirations and developing the skills to adapt to an evolving workforce.
Jake and Karlis – Talk Money
In the afternoon session, Jake and Karlis introduced students to essential financial skills, focusing on budgeting, saving, and planning for the future. They equipped students with the knowledge to make informed financial decisions, helping them develop a healthy relationship with money and gain confidence in managing their personal finances.
Throughout the week, students were engaged in activities that encouraged critical thinking, personal development, and preparing for a rapidly changing world. Future Ready Week has sparked important conversations at home and inspired our students to step beyond their comfort zones as they start to actively create their futures.
