Child Safety

Seeking Family Support for Online Safety Seminar
As part of our commitment to child safety and supporting families in navigating the digital world, we are hosting an Online Safety Seminar to equip parents and carers with practical strategies to help protect their children online.
We know that within our school community, there are many parents and carers with valuable expertise in online safety, digital wellbeing, cybersecurity, or child protection. We are seeking volunteers who can contribute to this seminar by sharing their knowledge, experiences, or practical tips on implementing effective safety measures to keep children safe in the online world.
If you have professional experience in areas such as cybersecurity, digital education, IT security, or child psychology - or if you have personal insights into managing online safety - we would love to hear from you. Your input will help make this session even more impactful for our school community.
Event Details:
Date: 7 May 2025 (TBC)
Time: 6:30pm
Location: Huntingtower PAC
If you are interested in contributing or would like to discuss how you can assist, please contact me directly - dowens@huntingtower.vic.edu.au - by Friday 21 March. I will then aim to schedule a time to meet to formalise the requirements and content of the presentation.
Thank you for your ongoing support. We look forward to working together to create a safer online environment for our children.
