 Year 7 - Results in soon

Year 7 students will soon begin receiving the results from their first round of assessments. This is a valuable opportunity for students to reflect on teacher feedback and consider how they can continue to improve throughout the term. Learning to review feedback and make adjustments in light of these comments is an important part of developing strong study habits in high school.

NAPLAN will also take place next week for our Year 7 students. To ensure everything runs smoothly, students must have the NAPLAN Lockdown Browser installed on their device and complete the device check beforehand. Practice tests have been provided to help students become familiar with the format and reduce any nerves on the day.

Year 8 – Prepare for camp

Our Year 8 students have continued to show fantastic school spirit, particularly at the recent Interhouse Swimming Carnival. Whether competing in races, taking part in novelty events, or cheering on their peers, it was great to see so many students getting involved and supporting their Houses.

A reminder to Year 8 families that camp is coming up next term. Camp is always a highlight of the year and provides a great opportunity for students to build friendships and challenge themselves outside the classroom. Please ensure all required camp forms and permissions are completed by the due date so arrangements can be finalised and plans completed for a fabulous camp.

General reminders

Phones must be placed in the designated phone pouches during the school day. No alternate items should be placed in the pouches to avoid consequences. All students across Years 7 – 9 must have their phone pouch with them on a daily basis.

As students continue settling into the routines of high school, organisation remains very important. Using the school diary, maintaining a daily routine, and keeping lockers and materials organised will help students stay on top of their work throughout the term. Thank you to all students for the positive start to the term.
