We recently sent 25 students to Morrison's Reserve in Mount Evelyn, to compete at the Yarra District Athletics Carnival. The weather was perfect for outdoor activities, and the students all enjoyed themselves, winning a lot of ribbons on the day. 

These events cannot run by themselves, and all schools are required to work at an activity. This year Healesville High School was allocated the triple jump pit, and Ms Benham was super impressed with the number of students who volunteered to assist her throughout the day. Nikita was also pleased with the attitude, enthusiasm and behaviour of all the students, too, both on and off the track. 

Congratulations to the following students: Aemelia Stevenson, Summer Kirby, Kendi Lucchinelli-Tuva and Jett Barclay.

Aemelia was crowned Age Group Champion for the Under 17's Girls, placing in all of her events, and the other three super-stars are all from Year 7, a great effort in your first year of high school! 

All four students placed first, so were also invited to participate in the Eastern Metropolitan Athletics Carnival in Doncaster. Kendi and Summer both represented Healesville High School on the day.
