Year 7 Update
Year 7
Year 7’s finished the term off with Interschool badminton and basketball competitions, where all of the students showed a fantastic level of sportsmanship and teamwork. Well done to all who competed!
Natasha McNamara has written her own recount of the badminton tournament here: “On the 17th of July a handful of Yr. 7’s that volunteered to play badminton went to a sports centre. We were there for the entire school day and played against Yarra Hills and Lilydale High School. We played three single games and three double games. My first game I won against Lilydale High School, my second single game I won as well and my last single game was against Yarra Hills and I lost. After the badminton games most people went to the vending machines for food. This experience was great fun. I would 100% go for this opportunity again in the future. This day gave me heaps of practice for Badminton and I’m very proud of myself for what I have achieved.” - Tash
