Legends Win Gold!

On Monday August 26, the Legends Band performed at the Victorian School Music Festival held at the Hawthorn Arts Centre. This year the Legends performed in the Intermediate Concert Band section, a level higher than last year. Our students looked great and performed to a very high standard on the day to be awarded ‘Gold’ from the two adjudicators.

We performed three pieces of music for our performance and then had an on-stage workshop with Dr Albert Nguyen, the guest chief adjudicator from the USA. In the workshop Dr Nguyen was very impressed with our playing and showed us ways that we can take our ensemble playing to the next level. All of the Legends Band members should be very proud of their achievement at the Victorian School Music Festival this year.
