Year 8 Report 

The Year 8s have had a busy term so far!  

Week 3 brought us our wellbeing day, where as a cohort we got to experience the REACH program. This program was engaging, inspiring and reflective. Many students shared stories reflecting on their lives along-side the presenters. 

Students gained perspective and respect for others. In the afternoon, the Year 8 students were able to participate in various activities in the REC or some quieter mindfulness activities. This wellbeing day built further connection throughout the year level. 

Later in the term we will have our Junior School Social, this will be held on Wednesday, 9 September, at Brown Hill Hall from 5:00pm to 6:45pm. 

This is a great opportunity for Year 7, 8 and 9 students to socialise and build connections in a supervised environment. 

Parents and carers please arrange pick-up from the venue at 6:45pm. Permission must be provided by Monday 31 August through Compass if students are wanting to attend this event.
