Year 7 Report
Emily Beale
It is hard to believe we are already halfway through Term 3! The term is certainly flying by, and we still have several exciting events and important opportunities coming up for our Year 7 students over the next five weeks.
Our Junior School Social will be held on Wednesday, 9 September, at Brown Hill Hall from 5:00pm to 6:45pm. This is always a fantastic evening and provides Year 7, 8 and 9 students with the opportunity to socialise in a fun and supervised environment. Parents and carers are asked to arrange pick-up from the venue at 6:45pm. Please ensure that permission is provided through Compass by 31 August.
The following day, Thursday 10 September, we will be holding our Parent-Teacher-Student Conferences. These conferences will take place online, and we strongly encourage students to attend alongside their parent or guardian so they can be involved in discussions about their learning, progress and future goals. Bookings will be available through Compass, with further information to be communicated closer to the date.
On Monday 14 September, our Year 7 students will also participate in the Backflips Against Bullying program. This engaging workshop, delivered by an external organisation, equips students with practical strategies to recognise, respond to and help prevent bullying, while promoting positive relationships and a respectful school culture.
Thank you for your ongoing support. We look forward to sharing these valuable experiences with our Year 7 students as we head towards the end of another busy and successful term.
