VCE & VCE Vocational Major  Report

Term 3 is well underway, and across both our VCE and VCE VM programs there continues to be plenty happening as students work towards the final stages of their 2026 learning programs. 

For our Year 12 VCE students, attention is increasingly turning towards examination preparation. Revision lectures will be coming up to provide students with additional opportunities to consolidate their learning, and students should now be beginning to incorporate practice examinations into their regular study routines. Completing practice exams, reviewing areas for improvement and seeking feedback from teachers are some of the most valuable things students can be doing as we move closer to the examination period. 

A range of practice examinations will also be made available in the Senior Study Centre for students to access. Students are also very welcome to come and see me if they would like some additional practice exams or support finding appropriate revision materials. 

Our VCE VM students have continued to work hard across their learning programs and projects, with lots of practical and applied learning taking place. We are also looking forward to the upcoming Father’s Day and Father Figures Stall and seeing another of our VCE VM projects come together within the school community. 

For all of our VCE and VCE VM students, Term 3 is an important part of the school year. This is often the point where the students who begin to put in that little bit of extra work, while also finding a healthy balance between school, work, social commitments and their wellbeing, really start to see the benefits. 

We encourage students to think carefully about how they are using their time, stay on top of their learning and make sure they are also looking after themselves. If students are feeling overwhelmed, falling behind or simply need some support working out their next steps, they are always encouraged to check in with me or their Year Level Leader. There is plenty of support available, and we would much rather students reach out early so that we can work through things together.
