Year 3
This week we are focusing on conservation. Students have been learning all about the ways in which we can conserve our natural landscapes. We have also been learning about how we can rehabilitate and breed animals in zoos to repopulate species.
Year 4
Our year four students have been learning all about the different ecosystems and biomes around the world. Students have picked a biome they are interested in and completed research to inform a minecraft build to display one of the biomes' food webs.
Year 5
The grade 5 students have finished and presented their created animals. We have seen some really interesting and amazing adaptations. Students are now working on a digital ecosystem and habitat for their animals!

Year 6
The grade 6’s have been continuing to measure the growth of their bean plants. They created a graph comparing the growth of the control plant and their own bean plant. Some of the plants grew to over 35cm tall!

Science at home
Here is an activity you could try at home to grow your own ‘Cress Head’ in a pot. Have fun!
