Winter is the perfect time for germs to try and sneak into our school. Luckily, our students are becoming expertGerm Busters!Ā

Remember to encourage your child to:
š Wash their hands regularly
𤧠Cover coughs and sneezes with their elbow
š§ Drink plenty of water
š“ Get a good night's sleepIf your child is feeling unwell, please keep them at home to rest and recover.

Healthy food helps our brains learn, our bodies grow, and our energy levels stay high throughout the day.

Some lunchbox favourites include:
ā Fresh fruit and vegetables
ā Wholegrain sandwiches or wraps
ā Cheese and yoghurt
ā Water as the drink of choiceFun challenge: Ask your child to help pack a "rainbow lunchbox" with foods of different colours!

š Medication Matters
If your child needs medication during school hours, please ensure:
ā A medication authority form is completed. This can be done at Ā the front office.
ā Medication is supplied in its original packaging with the pharmacy label attached.
ā Any changes to medical conditions or medications are communicated to the school.

š¦·Tooth Tip of the Month.....following on from the recent Smile Squad Visits.
Children should brush their teeth for TWO minutes, TWICE a day. A fun way to keep track is to play a favourite song while brushing. By the end of the song, those teeth will be sparkling!
