Year 10 ACC Football Carnival

The Mazenod College Year 10 ACC Football Team recently competed in the ACC Division 1 Football Carnival at Lightning Park against some strong opposition, including CBC Fremantle, Emmanuel Catholic College, Mandurah Catholic College and Mary Mackillop Catholic College, the reigning ACC South West Champions.

It was a fantastic day for football, with great conditions providing an excellent opportunity for the team to test themselves against quality opposition. Mazenod recorded two convincing victories against Mandurah Catholic and Mary Mackillop, while suffering two narrow losses to CBC Fremantle and Emmanuel Catholic College in the final game.

It was a great overall effort from the team, with a number of strong individual performances contributing to an enjoyable and competitive day of football. The students represented Mazenod College with enthusiasm, determination and excellent sportsmanship throughout the carnival.

A big thank you to Mr Donaldson and Mr Schultz for coaching and supporting the team on the day, and congratulations to all students involved on a terrific effort.

ACC Athletics Reminder

A reminder to all members of the ACC Preliminary Athletics team that next Tuesday 1st September is the Ern Clark athletics track meet. The meet starts at 2pm and finishes at 4pm. All members of the ACC Preliminary Team are requested to attend as this will be their last opportunity to get into the final squad that will be picked next week. 

Senior students who are intending on driving to the event are requested to fill in an excursion diversion form that is located on the SEQTA splash page. If you are unable to attend please see Mr Mason in the HPE office or email.
