Fathers and Friends

Last week, we were delighted to welcome fathers and significant male role models to our annual Year 7 Fathers and Friends Breakfast. The morning provided a wonderful opportunity to recognise and celebrate the important role that fathers, grandfathers, uncles, older brothers, family friends and mentors play in the lives of our young men.

The morning acknowledged the positive influence these role models have on the emotional, social and educational development of our students. College Principal, Mrs Hughes, also addressed those in attendance, reinforcing the value of strong partnerships between home and school in supporting each boy throughout his Mazenod journey.

Guests were then invited to accompany their sons to Form, before many continued on to experience a Period 1 lesson. It was a valuable opportunity for families to gain an insight into a typical school morning and the learning environment our Year 7 students enjoy each day.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the morning such a memorable occasion. We look forward to continuing to work in partnership with our Year 7 families as our young men grow and flourish over the coming years.
