Curtain Calls & Chronicles

As we eased back into Term 2, we have been pondering how do two dueling divas, a totally not tipsy leading man, an insane conductor, a triangle player with as much emotion as a rock and an opera singer who thinks he is a rock god, put on an opera with nothing but a triangle?

We have been answering that very question and we can tell you the results have been hilarious.  This is just one of the 6 pieces that will be performed at our school production this year,Curtain Calls & Chronicles. 

Students have been busy wrapping their heads around playing not just the characters in these pieces but also the actors that are playing these characters! 

It is a delight to see the comic chaos that is unfolding on the stage, as despite the best efforts of everyone, everything goes wrong.

The audience will be laughing, crying, and cheering along as they witness this unique take on some traditional shows. And at the end of the day, they will leave the theater with smiles on their faces and joy in their hearts, knowing that sometimes, the most unexpected performances can be the most magical.
