Respectful and Responsible when Travelling

Respectful and Responsible when Travelling
All students are expected to be respectful and responsible when travelling to and from school.
Transport NSW’s Student Code of Conduct When Travelling provides students with information to ensure they travel safely and show respect for others. This code can be found at https://transportnsw.info/tickets-fares/eligibility-concessions/school-student-travel/student-code-of-conduct-when-travelling
Students must behave in a manner that ensures both their comfort and safety and that of other passengers. Disobeying these rules may lead to:
- the withdrawal of school travel passes
- banning students from travelling on public transport
- police prosecution and court action
Spencer Road Safety
Parents are reminded that Spencer Road, opposite the school entrance, is a No Stopping zone. This means that cars cannot stop for any reason including picking up or dropping off passengers. Information regarding No Stopping zones can be found at
https://www.nsw.gov.au/driving-boating-and-transport/roads-safety-and-rules/parking/parking-rules
The safety of all students arriving at and leaving school is paramount and parents are thanked for adhering to these requirements. Parking officers do attend throughout the year and fine drivers not obeying requirements.

Deputy Principal.
