Year 9 Camp: An Unforgettable Experience in Port Stephens

In Week 7, Year 9 students attended camp in Port Stephens, where they enjoyed a range of activities that encouraged adventure, connection and personal growth.
From racing down the Stockton Dunes on sandboards to tackling the fun challenges at Toboggan Hill Park, the two days were packed with adventure, laughter and plenty of opportunities for students to challenge themselves. They also enjoyed swimming and exploring the scenic coastal walk at Tomaree Head, but the real highlight was the dolphin watching cruise, where students were thrilled to see dolphins playing in their natural environment.
Beyond the activities, camp provided a valuable opportunity for students to build friendships, show resilience and gain independence in a supportive environment. Their behaviour reflected the high standards of our school with our bus drivers even commenting that this was one of the best groups they had had the pleasure of transporting.
We would like to especially thank Mrs C. Lord, Miss Z. Khoshaba and Mr M. Nguy for joining us and for their care throughout the camp, ensuring that every student felt safe, supported and able to fully participate.
Year 9 Camp was a wonderful way to end the year, leaving students with shared experiences and memories to carry forward.
