HSIE Class Highlights 

8 Geography 

Year 8 have been looking at place and liveability of different countries and cities around the world. As part of this they have been investigating the liveability of our school facilities conducting fieldwork around the playground to assess various features (such as availability of shade, shelter and bins) and creating their own suggestions improvement that could be made to the different spaces. 

10 Geography 

In Year 10 students have been look at Environmental Change and Management which includes some of the human impacts on the environment. As part of this 10R1 created infographics to show some of the impacts of microplastics not only on humans but also on the environment. 

Geography Dates to Remember 

For the Rhino and Gorilla lovers out there make sure to celebrate World Rhino Day 22nd of September and World Gorilla Day 24th of September. 

With the Nepean River being such a quintessential part of the Camden Community give it a thought on the last day of September for World Rivers Day.
