September Update

The P&C trialled an online meeting for September which gave flexibility for more people to attend and we hope to trial this again. Watch for updates online and in the newsletter.

The September meeting had a great presentation from the HSIE department and discussion around fundraising opportunities for the school. 

Recent fundraising has paid for extra seating in the school grounds and prizes for awards at presentation night. If you have any ideas for fundraising, or are able to donate towards a prize pool for an auction or raffle, please get in touch.

This weeks’ meeting also discussed subject selections for Years 8 and 10. Acknowledging that some students will not have their preferences available, due to class numbers, if you have any questions or concerns about the subjects available for your child, it is encouraged that you contact the school. The school is looking at ways to increase parent/carer knowledge of the selection process and options so that they can better support their child in making their choices.

We hope more families can join us for the upcoming meetings in Term 4.

The P&C meet week 4 and 9 of each term at 6.30pm in the school library. Parking is in the staff car park.
