From the Principal

Term 3 is almost at an end, and we currently have Year 11 completing formal exams. It is important that every student prepares well for the exams, engaging in study and revision, and bringing correct equipment, so that they are able to perform at their best.
Year 12 will complete their formal schooling at the end of this term, and continue to prepare for the HSC exams that commence in term 4. We look forward to celebrating their achievements at the Graduation and Formal in the last week of this term. In the lead up to HSC exams, we have had NESA marking teams on site this term to assess practical performances for Music and major projects for Industrial Technology – Timber and Design and Technology. As in previous years, the standard of performances and projects continues to be extremely high.
I would like to recognise the efforts of our outgoing school captains. Claire, Joshua, Joshua and Paige have been fantastic role models and ambassadors for Camden High School, and it has been an absolute pleasure to work alongside them.
Earlier this term I attended an assembly at Mount Hunter Public School to present a banner acknowledging the strong partnership in public education between CHS and MHPS. It was also a wonderful opportunity for some former Mount Hunter students to revisit their primary school. This visit reinforced our commitment to nurturing lifelong learning relationships, and celebrating the achievements of our students, past, present and future.
Our students recently had the opportunity to attend the unveiling of a stunning new mural at the Sydney Water Pump Station in Camden. This was a project bought to life with the creativity and input of our students. In collaboration with Blackbook Ink, what was once a plain, functional space has been transformed into a colourful and welcoming landmark at the entrance to the Camden Town Farm Walkway. Our school has been acknowledged with a framed print of the mural which now hangs in our foyer. It is always fantastic to see our students contributing to the wider Camden community.
