Student Leadership

This term, the SLC have been involved in the World’s Greatest Shave. Camden High School has raised $10,000s for this cause over the last 20 years of our association. We salute our brave shavers and hope you were in a winner in this year’s raffle. Thank you to all our raffle sponsors:

  • Red Leaf Wholesale Nursery, Douglas Park

  • Mrs White

  • Mrs Bromley

  • Year 12 and Year Advisors Mrs Middleton and Mr Usher

  • Claire A and Jye P from Year 11

On Friday 29th August, we had an amazing 11 volunteers shave, cut, and wax for this amazing cause. Together we raised over $1000 in funds supporting this great cause. Check out some of the awesome before and after pictures below.

We are building stronger community partnerships in an extended transition process for our future students. Our SLC team has visited all our local schools for public education celebrations and presented a banner to each of our local primary schools, and we have supported many local Years 5 and 6 students visiting our school across the term.

This term marks the end of the leadership of our Year 12 team. We thank Lara, Rory, Emily, Taylor, Kinsang, Cooper, Jacqui, Josh M, Paige, Josh H and Claire. These students have made valuable contributions to our SLC initiatives from: supporting fundraising efforts, mentoring younger students, attending leadership and sporting events, and being some of the top house point earners this year.

We would like to acknowledge the hard work and efforts of our four amazing outgoing captains: Josh M, Paige, Josh H, and Claire. These students have left an impressive mark on Camden High School’s leadership team and supported their local Camden community. We wish them the very best for their upcoming exams and future endeavours.
