Biz - E - Kidz Update

Hello families!
On Wednesday 30th of April, Biz-E-Kidz Molesworth Street had a visit from the Quality Assessment and Rating Division of the Department of Education. As Biz-E-Kidz Molesworth St is seen by the Department as a separate outside school hours care (OSHC) service to Errol St Biz-E-Kidz, we needed to undergo a separate assessment and rating process. All childcare services in Victoria undergo assessment and rating every 3 or so years.
Our Errol St service was assessed in November 2024, while I was away on maternity leave, and we received a rating of 'Meeting' the National Quality Standards in all 7 Quality areas.
We are yet to receive the results of our recent Molesworth St service assessment and rating - stay tuned for an update in the next newsletter.

I would especially like to congratulate and thank our prep team on the day: Zoe, Evie, Ema and Alice. The assessor observed the after school care session until 6pm (phew!) and really delved deep into our pedagogy when asking Zoe and Evie some tricky questions! Also a very big thank you to the rest of our leadership team for all their work in the lead up to the visit.
In other news, I am very pleased to report that the new Junior Biz-E-Kidz (in grades 1 and 2) have settled in really well to the the Flex building and south side play area of Errol St campus. They are doing a really great job at walking from Molesworth St to Errol St for after school care and have been really enjoying their new playground and outdoor space as well as the ground floor of the Flex. I hope families have adjusted to this change without too much stress, please contact us to give any feedback you would like to pass on, we really value it.
