Student Leadership

Term 3 is here and what a busy couple of weeks its been. The SLC kickstarted the term helping with Camden’s NAIDOC week celebrations. Students helped Ms White run a lolly guessing competition and tattoo stall. Students and teachers alike took their guesses, strategically measuring and counting trying to figure out the exact amount of raspberries, bananas, and maltesers in each jar. While others opted to select a temporary tattoo with an abundance of choice featuring beautiful First Nations artwork.
But it wouldn’t be term 3 without Pajama Day! The end of the week saw the school turn into a cozy haven with everyone modelling their comfiest pjs. All funds raised with be combined with Year 12’s fundraising efforts at the end of the term to support youth homelessness.
Year 11 are busy raising funds for our annual World’s Greatest Shave event. Our brave volunteers Mr Evangelista, Mr Usher, Claire A, Harrison P, Marcus P, and Bradley D are getting ready to shave and cut their hair for the cause.
Students are selling raffle tickets each break in front of the library with the chance to win some awesome prizes. Prizes include a complimentary Jamberoo Action Park pass, a fruit tree, gift cards, a ‘Mystical Box’, a ‘Travellers Box’, and a sweets assorted box.
A huge thank you to our kind donors for their generous support! Students will also be holding a bake sale and coloured hair spray on the official shave date – Wednesday 20th August (Week 5). Donations can be made via the QR code or website link on our socials pages.
Votes are in and it's time to announce our School Captains for 2025-2026. This year we were fortunate enough to have an impressive selection of candidates in Year 11. Students completed the application process which included attending an interview and giving a speech in front of the 2026 senior cohorts. A special mention to all involved, a great display of leadership across CHS. Please help us to congratulate our School Captains for 2025-26:
Mayah C, James B, Jemma Gauci, Lochlann Byrant, and Jye Pollet.
We look forward to sharing this experience with you.
Don’t forget to grab a bargain for summer at our Second-Hand Uniform Shop! See Mr Berrell for more details.
SLC have more exciting events happening this term including:

Looking forward to a busy but rewarding Term 3!
