Recently at Defence Group we have enjoyed ice blocks together, made Father’s Day crafts, competed in Music Trivia, found our names in a custom find-a-word, celebrated Halloween, and expanded our social circles by ‘bringing a friend’ to Defence Group.

In November, we will go on excursion to Fort Scratchley, on the headland at Newcastle East. This is an opportunity for our Defence Students to learn about Australia's military history, whilst also enjoying breathtaking views of the coast! 

We will be taking an underground tour into the tunnels beneath the fort, to gain a unique insight into the history of the site. 

If any families are posting out in the new year, please let me know in advance so I can create a farewell pack for your child.
