Glen Education was proud to have our General Manager Operations, Education & Pedagogy Melissa MacMaster, and Pedagogy Leader, Janine Bird, attending the 2025 Early Childhood Australia ECA Leadership Colloquia.

This exclusive program brings together leaders from across the early childhood sector for a week of deep reflection, honest dialogue, and thought-provoking conversations about what it means to lead with purpose in an evolving landscape.

With powerful provocations, shared experiences, and space to think differently, the Colloquia strengthens our collective capacity as informed thought leaders – working towards improved outcomes for children, families, and the community.

We look forward to the insights Melissa and Janine will bring back to Glen Education from this important opportunity.

Our Teacher Shines at the ECA Vic Research Forum

This November, Glen Education was proud to see our teacher, Inessa Dorevitch, from Glen Education Bentleigh East Kindergarten, invited to present her inquiry project at the ECA Vic Research Forum.

The event was organised by the ECA Victoria Committee and hosted at the Gowrie Carlton Learning Precinct. The inquiry project formed part of Inessa’s research as she moved from provisional to full teacher registration.

Inessa shared insights from her inquiry project alongside educators and leaders from across the early childhood sector.

Reflecting on the experience, she said: 

“Being invited to speak on the panel made me feel proud of the work we do as teachers. It was a meaningful opportunity to share my inquiry project and engage in deep, reflective conversations with teachers from different settings. I felt honoured to highlight our innovative practice and to represent Glen Education’s mission and values. It reinforced how important our work is for children’s learning and wellbeing.”
