Meet your House Captains!

Hey DHS! I’m Sanam I’m super excited to be one of your House Captains this year! It’s such an awesome opportunity and I can't wait to help lead our House to a great year. I’m all about making sure everyone feels included and encouraged to get involved in all the fun events and activities we’ve got. 

We’ve had a great start so far, especially with the Swimming Carnival, which was our first big event of the year. We ended up in third place, which was an amazing achievement for us and a great way to kick off a ton of energy and spirit.

We’re also getting our social service projects going. We’ll be hosting some lunchtime fundraisers for charity and every little bit helps. It's a great way for all of us to give back and make a difference.

A special shout-out to our Year 7s! Welcome to DHS – this is your first year and I’m sure you’re all going to make some great memories. Don’t be afraid to get involved and take part in the events we’ve got planned. You’ll find that being part of the House is an awesome way to make new friends and have fun along the way. We’ve got your back.

Hi everyone, I’m Roseanna, your Darwinia House Captain, and I couldn’t be more excited! 

I can’t wait to bring the energy, build our House spirit, and make this the best year yet. Whether it's on the field, in the classroom, or just cheering each other on, let’s make not only Darwinia, but our school, unstoppable!

We’ve had an awesome start to the year already, with the hustle and bustle of a new school year, meeting new faces and settling into our classes. 2025 sparks the year to step up, step out, and say yes! Try new things, take on new challenges and get involved – whether it's joining in interschool sports, befriending a new face, or simply answering a question in class. You never know what amazing opportunities await unless you go for it. We've just had Swimming Carnival and Athletics is just around the corner! 

So, let's make 2025 a year of growth, courage and unforgettable experiences, where we step up, aim high, and show what DarWINia is truly capable of!
