Swimming Carnival

The first term of 2025 has been very eventful, with the Swimming Carnival standing out as a major highlight. 

The competition was intense, the energy was higher, and the House spirit was stronger than ever. This year’s Swimming Carnival was unlike any before, featuring not only exceptional swimming competitions, but also a variety of other sports activities, ensuring that everyone had an opportunity to contribute points to their House. The energy and enthusiasm was truly remarkable, with students eagerly taking part in various events and supporting their peers.

Competition in the pool was fierce, as students gave their all to secure victory for their houses. Beyond the water, the spirit of participation was just as strong, with students engaging in activities or cheering on their friends. A highlight of the event was the Class of 2025 dressing up as various characters, showcasing their creativity and effort, which added an extra layer of excitement and fun to the day.

Congratulations to the winning House Callistemon, followed by Banksia and Darwinia. A huge thank you to all the teachers, House Leaders and students for your hard work in making this event a successful one. Special appreciation goes to our student leaders, whose dedication and hard work ensured the event was both meaningful and memorable.

Spirit of Sport Award Recipients

The Sport Coordination Team have created a new award for students who are representing the House and/or school throughout the year, and these students receive a Spirit of Sport Award. This award accrues points for the student, with the top achieving sports student for each year level being recognised at the end of the year. This includes Interschool Sport, House Athletics and House Swimming. Congratulations to the recipients for the Spirit of Sport Award from the Swimming Carnival. Each student will receive a certificate, canteen voucher and a Green Points Chronicle. Well done.
