Meet your House Captains!

Hi there. This is Muheyra and Didar, and we are honoured to be your Banksia House Captains. This is an incredible opportunity for the both of us, and we are truly grateful for the trust you have placed in us to lead our House to a brighter future.

Our main goal is to make Banksia the BEST House, but we can’t do it without you! To achieve this, we have 3 key strategies so far, but they will change based on your ideas and feedback:

Firstly, we would like to congratulate Banksia for placing second in the Swimming Carnival! A big thank you to everyone who participated in the events. Everything ran smoothly and it was amazing to see all the funny and incredible outfits on the day. We truly appreciate everyone who showed up and gave it their all, especially considering the heat. Your energy and effort made the day great!

Secondly, building a positive and supportive culture by using encouragement and teamwork are what make a House strong! Let’s lift each other up, cheer each other on, and create an environment where everyone feels motivated to give their best.

Thirdly, we are planning to create an exciting and new way to inform you what is happening in Banksia to keep you updated on our progress, upcoming events and exciting opportunities. This will be a great chance for us to come together and celebrate our achievements!

This year has already started on a high note, and with your energy and dedication, we can take Banksia to the top!

To support our House and create more fun opportunities, we are considering some fundraising ideas which include:

• Noodle Sales 🍜 – Who doesn’t love noodles?

• Raffle Draws 🎟️ – Win awesome prizes while supporting our house!

• Themed Challenges 💪 – Fun activities where you can participate and raise money for Banksia!
