Eucalyptus House

Hello everyone, welcome back to Term 2! I hope everyone has had a restful break and is ready for a productive and positive term ahead.
My name is Seema H, representative of Year 11 Eucalyptus and I am happy to be part of the SRC team this year. One of the things I have enjoyed most in this role is the opportunity to take on leadership within our school community, especially working with younger year levels. I have really valued engaging with students, where I’ve been able to support, guide, and learn from them as well. It has been rewarding to see how listening, respect, and communication help build trust and connection.
Through SRC, I have also enjoyed meeting and socializing with many different students across the school. It has helped me better understand different perspectives, behaviours, and what helps us feel included and supported.
I would also like to reflect on our recent ANZAC Assembly. It was a meaningful reminder of the importance of respect, remembrance, and gratitude for those who have served. It was great to see our school community come together in such a respectful way.
As part of our House activities, I am looking forward to supporting our House Charity initiatives for Social Service this term and encouraging everyone to get involved, make memories, get to know each other more, and build stronger connections between students while showing House spirit.
Lastly, I would like to highlight the importance of respect, kindness, and responsibility within our environment. As a House community, we all play a role in maintaining a positive and welcoming space for everyone. Small actions such as showing respect to others and taking care of our environment make a big difference in building a strong House culture.
Looking forward to a great Term 2 together.
