Taylor competed in an AUS/NZ Gymnastics competition in the last school holidays. Taylor made it into the finals for Vault and Bars and placed for both – Gold in Bars with a 14.033 and narrowly missing out on a medal with 4th place in Vault with 13.650. Taylor also competed in the New Zealand graded-level STEP 6, placing fourth overall.
The 22nd St George’s Cathedral Art Exhibition took place during the school holidays, displaying paintings created by four St George’s Visual Art students – Abi Jones (Year 11), Ben Moss (Year 10), Julian Pivac (Year 10), and Ruth Duuring (Year 10). Here's their work:
Last week Fieke ran the 2025 WA State Cross Country Championships U14 Girls, where she placed first and became State Champion. Fieke ran 3km, finishing with a time of 9:58.78. This win entitles qualifies her for The Australian Cross Country Championships next month in Ballarat, where she will run individually as well as in a relay team.
As a participant of the 2025 Future Female Leaders Program, Zara was part of the launch of its Social Impact Project. Each of the 20 participants pitched their project to a room full of mentors, professionals, and changemakers at Pitch Night - gaining confidence, funding, and new connections to bring their ideas to life.
The room was buzzing with anticipation from 80+ mentors, investors and cheerleaders and Zara had 90 seconds to pitch her idea, share her story, and make the case for why their project deserved support. She then joined the Hot Seat, answering questions from a panel of mock angel investors. Look out world
