Production and Dance

One week to go!

Witches?! In Salem?! is in countdown mode.

The 2025 Whole School Production is almost here, and what a magical ride it has been!

Over the holidays, our dedicated cast and crew gave up three full days to rehearse in professional spaces at the State Theatre Centre of WA, including the iconic Studio Underground.

From transporting props and setting up rehearsal zones to painting set pieces and refining every line and cue, the commitment has been next level.

But it hasn’t just been hard work, it has been a cauldron of creativity, laughter, and unforgettable memories. From day one, our witches were conjuring up spooky sounds while rolling across the floor, competing in hilarious “witch dance battles,” and filming surprise rap videos outside the theatre during our Amazing Race challenge.

We’ve fully embraced our quirky mascot Salata (yes, like the biscuit) and the mysterious yellow chicken who has somehow become the beating heart of our backstage joy. There has been chaos, creativity, and plenty of cracked eggs (literally and theatrically), as students bravely took risks and pushed boundaries.

Special shout-outs

Huge thanks to Miss Bourke, Mrs Taylor, Mr Hanssen, Miss Scott, and Mrs Wiese for generously supervising rehearsals over the break.– Congratulations to Annabelle M, Lily R, Tessa S, Saffron W, and Jasmyne W for conquering the Term 2 Surprise Challenge and winning their custom Witches?! tote bags!– And hats off to Crew #2 Camp Challenge winners for claiming the title of top team!
